Build a team and compete to Knock Down Hunger in Hamtramck! Join us for an afternoon of Fowling (corn hole, bowling, and football all mixed together!), community, and friendly competition all in support of our food pantry and the support services we provide.
Join Us for the Detroit Friendship House Annual Fowling For Food Fundraiser!
It's Bowling with a Football and it all helps our programs! At our friendly fowling fundraiser, teams will compete to win our first ever tournament. Bring a team of 4 and spend the afternoon playing games, networking, meeting our programs staff, and having fun in the name of charity.
- When: Saturday, September 20th from 1pm - 4pm
- Where: The Fowling Warehouse, 3901 Christopher Street, Hamtramck, MI 48211
- Who: YOU! And a team of three other friends or family members (or come solo, we'll match you with a team)
- Why: to raise funds for our food pantry and the programs we run to build self-sufficiency in our community
We believe that no one should face hunger alone. Food insecurity is a symptom of deeper challenges, which we work to address through education, community support, and personal connection. Join our community for an afternoon of games and community building that supports our pantry and its services, like our Women’s Empowerment Group.
